The lab admits graduate students through graduate programs (PhD or MSc) in Rehabilitation Science or Neuroscience. We generally prefer and accept students applying through the Rehabilitation Science program.
Positions: We are not taking any graduate students for the coming year (starting Winter and Fall 2026).
Students from the MSc Speech Language Pathology program interested in completing CSD-900 under Dr. Jacqueline Cummine should get in touch with her directly. We frequently co-supervise SLP students with other faculty members from the CSD (Aalto, Hodgetts) so students may also reach out to them instead.
Dr. Jacqueline Cummine supervises undergraduate students in Neuroscience, Biology, and Psychology programs. We encourages undergraduate students interested in research to get involved in research labs early on.
Honors students are advised to get in touch in advance in their undergraduate career to allow time for training, exposure, and exploring potential research options before officially taking on an honors research project in their senior years.
Research course students are also advised to get in touch in advance and allow for time to plan a research course.
