If you're interested in joining the lab as a post-doctoral researcher, please introduce yourself to Dr. Jacqueline Cummine with a brief description of your background and interests.
Positions: We are currently not hiring post-doctoral researchers, but we'd love to say hi and connect if our interests align!
The lab admits graduate students through graduate programs (PhD or MSc) in Rehabilitation Science or Neuroscience. We generally prefer and accept students applying through the Rehabilitation Science program.
Positions: We are not taking any graduate students for the coming year (starting Winter and Fall 2026).
Students from the MSc Speech Language Pathology interested in completing CSD-900 under Dr. Jacqueline Cummine should get in touch with her directly. We frequently co-supervise SLP students with other faculty members from the CSD (Aalto, Hodgetts) so students may also reach out to them instead.
The lab encourages undergraduate students interested in research to engage in the lab early on. Honors students are advised to get in touch early on in their undergraduate career to allow time for training, exposure, and exploring whether they are interested in the research our lab does before taking on their own honors project. Research course students are also advised to get in touch in advance and allow for time to plan a research course. Dr. Jacqueline Cummine supervises undergraduate students in Neuroscience and Psychology. Interested students, please fill this google form:
We are not taking any undergraduate students for honors supervision or research course supervision currently.
We appreciate volunteership to help with ongoing projects whether you are a current student or recent graduate looking for an opportunity to gain laboratory experience. You can also fill this form and we will get in touch with you if we see a fitting opportunity for you.
